Pre race thoughts & some important messages

On the eve of my first race in almost 9 years and my first sporting event post knee replacement – I’m telling some honest truths and I have some important messages for other knee replacement warriors out there.

  1. Melanie, like you I have always had pre race jitters. Our situations have a tendency to increase that feeling. You know what? Your going to do great! Like you said keep your expectations low and treat it as a training race. Your absolutely correct when you said just getting out there is a win. Just have fun and know how blessed you are to be out there competing. Go Get em kid!
